inclusive tourism

We think that everyone should have the right to enjoy the holiday of their dreams—resting, swimming, soaking up the sun, and breathing in clean, fresh air. This is the vision we strive for, ensuring that our chosen island remains accessible and welcoming to all.

As luxurious villas spring up across Korcula, accommodation prices soar, transforming our paradise into an exclusive haven for affluent tourists. This trend not only limits the diversity of visitors but also impacts the local community. Many residents, unable to afford rising property costs, are forced to relocate inland or leave the island altogether.

We yearn for the vibrant energy of young, adventurous travellers who seek to explore the island’s natural wonders—biking through hills, climbing rocks, diving into crystal-clear waters, and experiencing the true essence of our island. Our goal is to invite a diverse array of visitors, regardless of their background, age, or social status. We celebrate diversity in all its forms, welcoming people of all colors, sexual orientations, neurodiverse individuals, and those from every walk of life.

While we are dedicated to inclusivity, we acknowledge our current limitations. Our hilltop location with numerous stairs is not yet accessible for those with physical disabilities or families with young children. However, we are committed to making necessary improvements to ensure everyone can enjoy our beautiful haven safely.

Recognizing that financial constraints can be a barrier to experiencing a seaside holiday, we are in the process of establishing a foundation. This initiative will raise funds to provide vacations for those who might otherwise be unable to afford them. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting development.
